As part of World Mental Health Day 2019 the pupils took part in team building activities which included making the best armchairs using balloons and cling film and working together to navigate around obstacle courses. They also held a non-uniform day to help raise money for charity Compass Buzz. Students and Staff helped to raise £16.58p.
The Rubicon Centre is supporting the 'Ask Twice' campaign for World Mental Health Day on October 10th.
We want people to ‘Ask Twice’ if they suspect a friend, family member, or colleague might be struggling with their mental health. The simple act of asking again, with interest, can help someone to open up for the first time.
The pupils and staff are coming in non-uniform and onesies to help raise money, so please dust off your best outfits! A range of activities will be taking place throughout the day from artwork to team building activities organised by one of our Yr11 students.
